PARTICIPANTS IN THESE ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE AWARE OF AND
ACCEPT THE ASSOCIATED RISKS AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR
OWN ACTIONS AND INVOLVEMENT IN THE ABOVE ACTIVITIES.’
1. All climbers must complete and sign a registration form
on their first visit.
2. All climbers must sign the Boulder UK Log Book on entering
the facility.
3. Minors, aged 16 years and below, MUST be accompanied
by a responsible adult or climber. Under no circumstances
can they be left alone without prior arrangement with Boulder
UK. Such arrangements will be limited to a maximum stay
of 3 hours.
4. All climbers are warned that incorrect use of the facility
or climbing beyond your capabilities may result in injury
to yourself or others.
5. Group instruction will only be allowed with the prior
approval of Boulder UK. Instructors must produce a current
qualification and insurance certificate.
6. All wall users should note that the climbing wall areas
are unsupervised.
7. Whilst in the climbing areas be aware of falling climbers.
8. Do not climb, stand or sit beneath other climbers.
9. All climbers should be aware that Bolt On Holds can break
and or spin.
10. If a hold breaks or spins report it to a member of staff.
DO NOT attempt to rectify the problem yourself.
11. Do not remove or interfere with any climbing holds or
insitu equipment.
12. Boulder UK accepts no responsibility for loss or damage,
(accidental or otherwise), to property and equipment.
13. Lost property will be kept for one month only.
14. When you are not climbing keep clear of the fire exits
and the areas beneath the climbing surfaces.
15. Ensure personal possessions are kept clear of the climbing
wall, bouldering mat and fire exits.
16. It is your responsibility to ensure that there adequate
matting beneath your chosen problem.
17. Jumping off the climbing surface can be dangerous. Boulder
UK recommend you climb down.
18. Food, drinks, outdoor footwear and bags/rucksacks are
not allowed in the climbing areas.
19. Do not leave toothbrushes or any other objects on the
boulder mats.
20. Do not leave any climbing gear in the climbing areas.
21. All accidents must be reported to staff immediately.
22. Boulder UK reserves the right to stop individuals climbing
if their behaviour is considered unsafe to themselves or
others.
23. Sections of the wall may be closed from time to time
for maintenance, route setting or special events. On these
occasions, no refund will be issued.
24. Boulder UK reserve the right to close the wall at any
time without prior warning. On these occasions, no refunds
will be issued.
25. Boulder UK operates a Non Smoking policy.
